Where in the World was Sara?
I grew up just outside of Philly, lived in Pittsburgh, and have been in DC since 2007
How did you get to DC?
I came to do progressive leadership development work after college.
Baking….
My first baking memory is making hamantashen (little triangle cookies for the Jewish holiday Purim) with my Mom around the dining room table. We used cups for cookie cutters and got flour everywhere!
Cooking….
I’ve been told that I was quite the chef- mostly by my roommates. I love to “Make it Work”- Tim Gunn style in the kitchen. I think I found the way to a few ladies hearts in the kitchen….

I like thinking about different flavors with chocolate : peanut butter, mint, cream, spice, coffee…..
