Where are you located?
Our secret lair is so well hidden that we’ll just come to you.

What are your hours?
Everything is baked to order and delivered during extended business hours.

Do you deliver? Where?
Yes! Delivery to the DC Metro area is included in the price.

Do you ship?
Actually, we’d rather not as some things do not travel well. Please check with us.

Ordering

How do I place an order?
Complete the online order form or email us at grassrootsgourmetdc@gmail.com. Along with your order, please be sure to include your name, email, phone number, desired delivery date, time and location.
If you don’t see what you want, have special restrictions or just need someone to make a decision for you, call us (202) 596-5448

How much notice do you require for an order?
We like at least 2-3 days to make sure we can give you exactly what you want.

But is it too late to order for tomorrow?
Call us, we’ll see what we can do.

Do you have a minimum/maximum order?
Since we’re doing the traveling, we request that you order at least 2 dozen cookies, 1 dozen cupcakes, OR 1 pie/cake/platter. If you have a big event (wedding, party, meeting, convention, bat/bar/other mitzvah, bridal/baby shower), the sky is the limit! Contact us as far in advance as possible to discuss options.

Special Needs

I’m vegan. Do you have anything for me?
We have limited vegan offerings (which we are looking forward to expanding); please check the menu.

I’m allergic to ________/I *hate* _________. Do you have anything for me?
Yes. Everything is made to order so please contact us with your special needs/restrictions. We’ll do our best to accommodate. All nut products are kept separately, however if you have severe allergies, please inquire.

My favorite flavor is grape but I don’t see it anywhere on the menu…
Baked-to-order means we can incorporate your faves within reason (sorry, no spinach-flavored cupcakes. yet.) Let us know what you want, we’ll let you know what we can do.

Weddings

Do you do weddings?
We would love to be part of your special day. Please call us to discuss all options and arrange a tasting.

Do you do tiered wedding cakes?
No, but we can work with you to create something to your liking such as a  beautiful, tiered display of delicious cupcakes, topped off with a mini-cake, perfect for the cake-cutting ceremony.

What’s your favorite thing on the menu?
Sara: Positively Peanut-Butter Chocolate cookie. They’ve been my favorite since I was a kid.
Jamilyah: Hands down, John Hancock Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies. No wait… Definitely Revolution Red Velvet mini cupcakes…
