Cake Noms, Not Bombs
28 Jan 2011
The entrepreneurial spirit is in full effect. I saw something on TV, then online, then in TX and I wanted it. I wanted to figure out how to make my own version of the things I’d seen. I have a killer recipe for the original cake, but this twist could be the best, so I thought. If we had a food truck, we might only make these, in various flavors. Now you know that means we’re on to something. I tried them multiple times, changing them slightly to get it just right. This twist is the best thing to happen to cake.
Ladies & Gentlemen, we introduce you to the Cake Nom. (please hold your applause)
This delicious treat is similar to a BonBon, in that it is a sweet something enrobed in chocolate. The process of creating these sweet bites is similar to that of making truffles, but with additional steps. The result, is a cake filled, chocolate covered bite that we promise will make you say “Mmmm” …or “Nomnomnom”.
Cake Noms made their Grassroots Gourmet debut on our Valentines Menu, this week. They were also featured in the Daily Candy article! Check out the other yummy things featured on the Valentines Menu this holiday season. Be sure to get your orders in before the deadline of February 7th, so that your loved ones can share in sweet goodness this year.
